Italian menswear brand Tombolini has renewed its partnership with Al-Nassr FC, one of Saudi Arabia’s top football clubs, for the 2025 season. The renewed agreement will see Tombolini continue to provide the club’s official suits, with a focus on design, comfort, and sustainability.

One-Year Extension of Commercial Agreement Al-Nassr Tombolini

The contract extension was formalized during a visit by Silvio Calvigioni Tombolini, head of the Italian fashion house, to Riyadh. As part of the renewal, Tombolini and Al-Nassr collaborated on the design and fabric selection for the new suits, which will be worn by players, coaching staff, and club officials during official functions throughout the 2025 campaign.

While the renewal was symbolically signed at Al-Awwal Park, the agreement reflects a broader commercial relationship in which Tombolini acts as an official clothing partner rather than a technical sponsor.

Sustainability and Functionality in New Collections

The upcoming Al-Nassr collection will feature pieces made from eco-conscious materials, including recycled plastics and rubber, aligning with a broader shift in luxury fashion toward sustainable production. The designs include what the brand claims to be the world’s lightest suits, combining machine washability, minimalist aesthetics, and performance fabrics.

Tombolini's approach prioritizes functionality and visual consistency, which fits the needs of professional athletes in formal contexts, such as pre- and post-match appearances or international travel.

Cristiano Ronaldo Involved in Fabric Selection

Cristiano Ronaldo, Al-Nassr’s highest-profile player, participated in the selection of fabrics for the new collection. While the extent of his involvement remains symbolic, the inclusion of Ronaldo in the renewal process signals Tombolini’s interest in leveraging his global image for brand positioning and reach, especially in the luxury lifestyle and sportswear crossover segment.

Italian Craftsmanship Meets Saudi Sporting Ambitions

The renewal continues a trend of European luxury brands collaborating with Middle Eastern football clubs, combining heritage craftsmanship with global sports marketing. Tombolini, known for its "Zero Gravity" suits, has previously focused its sponsorships on European fashion and business sectors. The Al-Nassr partnership positions the brand in a new commercial context, expanding visibility in the Gulf sports ecosystem.

Al-Nassr, led by manager Stefano Pioli, continues to invest in global branding opportunities, using commercial partnerships like this one to reinforce its position as a major regional club with international ambitions.
