Ebury, a global fintech specializing in international payments and foreign exchange, has announced a strategic partnership with Polish football club Lech Poznan. As part of the agreement, Ebury becomes the official fintech partner of the eight-time Ekstraklasa champions, with its logo featured on the sleeve of the team’s shirts.

Financial Innovation Meets Football Tradition

This collaboration marks Ebury’s entry into Polish football and comes at a significant moment for both organizations. The agreement coincides with the 10th anniversary of Ebury’s operations in Poland, while Lech Poznań continues to build on its century-long football legacy.

Ebury will provide the club with financial solutions aimed at optimizing cross-border transactions, managing foreign exchange risks, and streamlining international payments. With Lech Poznan increasingly involved in international player transfers and business operations, the fintech company’s expertise will support the club’s financial strategy.

The club’s success and influence extend beyond football, inspiring both fans and businesses in the region. Visibility and Activation

Ebury’s branding will appear on Lech Poznan's match jerseys starting from the game against Raków Częstochowa. Additionally, the company will have a presence at the club’s stadium, engaging with fans and business partners through various activations.

Lech Poznań’s B2B Sales Director, Marcin Grotkiewicz, welcomed the partnership:

"We are pleased to announce that Ebury is joining our group of business partners. The brand's logo will appear on the sleeves of Lech Poznań players starting from the match against Raków Częstochowa, and will also be present in the spaces of our stadium. We are very happy to start this collaboration. I believe that it will be fruitful for both parties, but also for our partners and sponsors, who will receive access to unique transactional banking solutions in international markets, in which Ebury specializes."

Ebury Expands Sports Partnerships in Central and Eastern Europe

This partnership with Lech Poznań is the second sports collaboration Ebury has announced in Central and Eastern Europe, following its recent deal with HC Sparta Praha. The fintech company’s growing involvement in sports sponsorship reflects its commitment to building brand recognition and demonstrating its financial expertise in international markets.
