FC Barcelona has announced a new sponsorship agreement with Panasonic, making the Japanese multinational the official Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) Provider for Espai Barça. The partnership will last for four seasons, running until June 30, 2028, and is part of the broader sponsorship program tied to the redevelopment of Spotify Camp Nou.
Agreement Scope and Implementation FC Barcelona and Panasonic
Under the deal, Panasonic Heating & Cooling Solutions will supply advanced HVAC technology for Espai Barça, ensuring energy efficiency, air purification, and climate control throughout the stadium. The company’s nanoe™ X technology will be integrated into the facility to improve indoor air quality, while air-to-water heat pump systems will optimize heating and cooling efficiency.
High-precision air conditioning equipment will also be installed in critical technical areas, such as server rooms and broadcasting spaces, where climate stability and reliability are essential. This aligns with FC Barcelona’s aim to modernize its infrastructure while maintaining high environmental and technological standards.

Moreover, in line with the Club’s commitment to sustainability and energy efficiency, Panasonic contributes to the new stadium’s design with its most innovative heating, ventilation, and air conditioning solutions. Implications for Barcelona and Panasonic
This agreement extends FC Barcelona’s commercial network for Espai Barça, aligning with the club’s vision of creating a fully modernized, eco-friendly stadium. It also reinforces Panasonic’s position in the European market, showcasing its technology in a high-profile sports venue.
For FC Barcelona, this deal represents enhanced matchday comfort through climate-controlled facilities, improved energy efficiency as part of the club’s sustainability goals, and a key sponsorship agreement contributing to the Espai Barça funding model.
