This Saturday, May 11, 2024, Dignity Health Sports Park is set to host a galaxy-themed spectacle as LA Galaxy announces an exciting Star Wars Night, in partnership with Modelo, for the anticipated match against Real Salt Lake. The event, scheduled to kick off at 7:30 p.m. PT, promises a thrilling blend of soccer and sci-fi, ensuring an unforgettable evening for fans of all ages.


Galactic Pre-Game Festivities at Galaxy Park


Prior to the match, fans are invited to immerse themselves in a pregame celebration at Galaxy Park starting at 6:00 p.m. PT. The event will feature a variety of family-friendly activities, including music and refreshments, setting the stage for a festive atmosphere leading into the game.


Exclusive Fan Giveaways and Entertainment


To amplify the excitement, the first 10,000 fans entering the stadium will receive a special light stick, enhancing the visual spectacle of the evening. Adding to the fan engagement, renowned DJ and producer ETC!ETC! will be performing sets before the game, during halftime, and post-match at the Extra Time in the Stadium Club, energizing the crowd with his globally recognized tracks.


Transforming the Stadium into a Star Wars Galaxy


The entire stadium will embrace the Star Wars theme, with iconic music and sound effects filling the air. Over 30 characters from the beloved Star Wars franchise will roam the concourse, interacting with fans and adding a unique touch to the game-day experience. While fans are encouraged to wear Star Wars-themed costumes, they are reminded that face-covering components are only permissible when seated, and props like lightsabers and blasters are not allowed.


Exclusive Merchandise and Art Displays


In celebration of the theme night, exclusive merchandise, including the "Cozmo Battle Scarf," will be available for purchase at the LA Galaxy Team Store and various retail locations within the park. Additionally, fans will have the opportunity to explore art by southern California-based artist Isaiah Takahashi, also known as “BLKSRS,” at SoccerFest. Takahashi's limited edition LA Galaxy posters will be available, adding a collectible element to the night’s festivities.


Community and Sponsor Engagement


SoccerFest will also feature appearances by notable personalities such as Leilani Shiu, who portrayed Teeka the Jawa in "Obi-Wan Kenobi." Fans can interact with various sponsors and partners at SoccerFest, including Sprite, Dignity Health, Modelo, and O’Reilly Auto Parts, and engage in activities like virtual selfies with LA Galaxy stars, Star Wars-themed face painting, and temporary tattoos.
