In a historic move for Saudi Arabian sports, the iconic King Abdullah Sports City Stadium has been officially renamed Alinma Stadium following a major naming rights agreement between Alinma Bank and the Saudi Ministry of Sport. The deal, which extends until 2029, marks a significant milestone in the country's evolving sports sponsorship landscape.

Opened in 2014, the stadium is the largest in Jeddah and the second-largest in Saudi Arabia, boasting a seating capacity of 62,345. It serves as the home ground for two of the nation’s most celebrated football clubs, Al-Ahli and Al-Ittihad.
The naming rights deal represents the first of its kind in Saudi Arabia, demonstrating the growing commercial opportunities within the Kingdom’s sports sector. By securing this partnership, Alinma Bank has reinforced its commitment to supporting national sports and enhancing its brand visibility on a global scale.
A Stadium of International Prestige
Alinma Stadium has already made its mark on the international football scene, having hosted key matches during the 2023 FIFA Club World Cup.
