Villarreal CF has introduced two new matchday hospitality experiences — the Match Groc Experience and the Meet & Groc — aimed at deepening fan engagement and enhancing the spectator experience at Estadio de la Cerámica. Both offerings will debut during the club’s home fixture against Athletic Club on Matchday 30, and reflect the growing trend of Spanish clubs expanding non-ticketing revenue streams through value-added experiences.
Match Groc Experience: Premium Behind-the-Scenes Access
The Match Groc Experience is designed as a limited-capacity, high-touch experience, with a cap of just 10 participants per match. Priced at €175 (without match ticket) or €275 (with Super Tribuna seating), it includes:
Access to the Inmersión Villarreal museum (interactive space only)
Entry to watch the team arrival from within the stadium
Guided tour of the VIP suite and press room
Participation in an exclusive post-match Meet & Groc
An official Villarreal CF scarf
The experience is built to provide supporters with a deeper connection to the club through behind-the-scenes access and direct post-match interaction.
Meet & Groc: Post-Match Fan Access Villarreal CF
The Meet & Groc is a lower-priced fan interaction opportunity offered at €75 per person. It provides access to a designated zone where fans can:
Watch Villarreal CF players exit the stadium
Request autographs and photos in a controlled post-match setting
This option is designed for fans seeking direct access to players without committing to the full premium experience.
Commercial and Strategic Context
Both initiatives are part of Villarreal CF’s broader strategy to diversify matchday offerings and cater to a wider range of supporter profiles. The club is actively utilizing its infrastructure — particularly its interactive museum space and VIP zones — to build new monetization opportunities around each fixture.
This also follows a wider LaLiga trend of mid-tier clubs investing in fan experience innovation as a lever for both revenue growth and brand positioning.
Flexible Museum Access on Matchdays
The club also confirmed that the Inmersión Villarreal experience remains available on matchdays. Fans can either book the full Museo & Tour package or access just the interactive exhibit, provided they do so at least five hours before kickoff.
